SBOrganization established centers across Badakhshan, Farah, Ghazni, Helmand, Herat, Kabul, Kandahar, Khost, Kunar, Logar, Maidan-Wardak, Nangarhar, Paktia, and Zabul Provinces, funded by the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, U.S., as part of the Colombo Plan drug treatment initiatives. These centers cater to men, women, and children, providing a range of services, including residential care and home-based treatment options. Specifically tailored to meet the needs of women, certain centers offer programs that extend care to their children, providing basic nurturing and educational activities while their mothers undergo treatment. In areas lacking inpatient services for women, SBOrganization ensures the availability of home-based treatment and counseling. Additionally, outreach efforts are integral, encompassing community education initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the hazards of illicit drug use, prescription medication abuse, poppy cultivation, and the trafficking of illegal substances.
